β’ Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift clusters on bare metal, including node management and OpenShift Virtualization (KubeVirt). β’ Automate infrastructure management using Ansible, Python, etc. β’ Configure and manage OpenShift networking (CNI) and storage (CSI). β’ Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting for the OpenShift environment. β’ Manage OpenShift control plane components and operators. β’ Collaborate effectively within a team environment, utilizing strong project management skills. β’ Implement and maintain security best practices for OpenShift. β’ Work with multiple internal teams as part of a group effort to migrate our virtualization stack
β’ 5+ years of Kubernetes/OpenShift experience. β’ 3+ years experience with OpenShift on bare metal and OpenShift Virtualization. β’ 3+ years experience with Ansible. β’ Experience implementing CSI (Ceph, Portworx, etc.) β’ Experience with Operators and OLM. β’ Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. β’ Strong project management and Agile experience. β’ Nice to Have: Virtualization Experience such as VMware, Nutanix, Xen, OpenStack, etc. β’ Migration Experience from other hypervisors. β’ Physical asset experience, such as servers, storage & storage protocols (Such as iSCSI, NVMeOF, etc.), node networking (physical bonding modes on nodes, LACP, mode 2, etc.)
