• Develop policies and procedures based on industry best practices, necessary to carry out day to day server operations and ensure business continuity for both internal and client based servers. • Provide project implementation oversight to ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met. • Plan and execute (when necessary) server changes / outages with knowledge of change management. • Participate in the development of IT Strategies in collaboration with direct management team. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. • Occasional Travel to US-Based office may be required – 1 to 2 times per year for up to 5 days.
• Systems Administration: Experience with Windows Server 2008 to WS2019/2022. • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and automation of repetitive tasks and interacting with APIs. • Experience with SaltStack or other configuration management tool (foreman, ansible, puppet, terraform) • Cloud and Server Management: Experience managing servers in both cloud environments (e.g., Azure, private cloud) and on-premises. • Networking and Storage: Knowledge of DFS, file server management, and troubleshooting server communication issues. • Performance and Security: Experience in server monitoring, tuning, patch management using technologies like WSUS, SCCM, and understanding of SOC2/ISO compliance is highly desirable. • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, especially in complex or multi-cloud environments. • Bonus Experience: Advanced Data Handling: Ability to write moderately complex SQL queries. • Monitoring and Visualization: Experience with Grafana for dashboard creation. • Virtualization and Packaging: Familiarity with VMWare, Packer, and deployment technologies like Chocolaty. • Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
