📋 Description
• We are looking for an experienced API Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust APIs that will integrate internal and external systems, improve data exchange, and enhance the overall user experience. • As part of the IT team, you will play a key role in enhancing our logistics and shipping solutions through seamless software integration. • Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient APIs to support internal and external system integration needs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party services and optimize system interactions, including customer-facing platforms, internal tools, and logistics management systems. • Monitor and optimize the performance of APIs to ensure fast, reliable, and secure data transfers across the system. • Create comprehensive API documentation to ensure ease of use, clear integration guidelines, and ongoing support for developers. • Implement security protocols and ensure API compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, protecting sensitive customer and company data. • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure reliability, functionality, and error-free performance. • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in API development and work to continuously improve and update existing systems, ensuring optimal functionality. • Work closely with other members of the IT team, including software developers, database administrators, and network engineers to enhance backend services and integrate new features. • Actively participate in agile development cycles and sprint planning, ensuring timely completion of API projects. • Provide ongoing support for troubleshooting API-related issues and assist other teams in API usage, enhancements, and integration.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience in API development, with strong proficiency in RESTful API design and integration. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or similar languages commonly used for API development. • Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and understanding of API management platforms. • Familiarity with JSON, XML, OAuth, and other data exchange and authentication protocols. • Strong understanding of web services architecture and microservices design principles. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve API issues. • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with cross-functional teams. • Good understanding of security best practices related to API development.
