📋 Description
• As the founding Engineering Lead, you will plan, build, and test new features for users. • You will translate business needs into working software by taking ownership of the entire software life cycle. • You will also focus on improving Along’s performance and reliability by building new features or polishing parts of the product.
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years working experience as a full-stack software engineer working in a team contributing to a production codebase • A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (design patterns, data structures and algorithms) and software development lifecycle (version control, test automation, etc.) • Experience building web applications and enjoy engaging with product & design while working across both the frontend and backend stack • Experienced in web development, server side development, API architecture and design, data and information architecture • Demonstrated fluency with Node.js, Nestjs, SQL, JavaScript/Typescript, Java • Experience with software development frameworks such as React and Next.js • Experience with cloud engineering and DevOps on cloud platforms (like AWS & Azure or GCloud) and CI/CD tools like (GitHub, Docker, Terraform) • Proactive communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative environment • An interest in learning from others and digging into new challenges • An inclusive and collaborative attitude towards building features, solving problems, and growing teams • Taking ownership is key.
