Description

• Work with clients to provide pre-close and post-close construction risk deliverables on their projects and provide expertise and consulting on active projects. • Lead commercial construction risk management team. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. • P&L responsibility for the commercial vertical within Granite Risk Management. • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. • Ensure that all projects adhere to risk management and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in commercial pre-construction planning, preferably from an EPC or construction engineering company, or as a commercial loan underwriter. • Business development, while delivering on client SLA's • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field. • An advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP) can be advantageous. • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members. • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control. • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Strong negotiation skills for dealing with clients, contractors, and suppliers. • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
