📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • EDI/ SAP Support Consulting (1099) Remote • Plan, create, analyze, and implement electronic data interchange (EDI) systems and supporting processes. • Ensure these systems are working properly to enable the efficient exchange of information between the Company and other organizations. • Assess the business needs and identify ways to optimize systems to best serve those purposes. • Test, maintain, troubleshoot and provide technical support if needed. • Analyze and optimize existing EDI transactions to improve efficiency. • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for EDI-related issues. • Configure and manage IDoc processing, EDI partner setup, and output determination. • Handle financial EDI transactions, including invoicing, banking outputs, and inter company billing. • Support procurement processes (purchase orders, scheduling agreements, stock transport orders). • Manage sales operations, including customer sales agreements, scheduling agreements, and invoicing. • Diagnose and resolve SAP-related issues across multiple modules. • Perform functional testing for EDI and SAP transactions, including sales scheduling, delivery, shipment, and invoicing. • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with industry standards. • Maintain and configure Loftware label printing systems. • Manage barcode scanners, printers, and SAP integration for labeling and packaging. • Plan, develop, and implement EDI solutions to streamline business processes.

🎯 Requirements

• EDI Standards & Transactions: ANSI X12 (997, 856, 830, 862, etc.), EDIFACT, VDA, XML (ISO 20022 CCTI). • Communication Protocols: OFTP2, VAN. • SAP Expertise: IDoc processing, partner configuration, financial EDI, procurement, sales, and logistics modules. • Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Experience in debugging SAP and EDI-related issues. • Technical Documentation: Ability to create mapping documentation and cross-correlation spreadsheets. • Experience with Loftware for label printing and barcode configuration. • Knowledge of Intermec scanner systems and SmartSystems. • Hands-on experience with SAP MDE/user setups.
