• At Bloq.it, we've pioneered the world’s leading smart locker solution, revolutionizing online deliveries by enabling effortless participation, reducing costs, and enhancing sustainability. • Having expanded rapidly with a growth rate of 1000% for three consecutive years, we are now the fastest-growing Smart Locker company globally and one of Europe's leading scale-ups. • We are seeking an exceptional VP of Hardware Engineering to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. • In this role, you'll be crucial in leading our hardware engineering team and driving technological excellence at Bloq.it. • What will be your responsibilities Lead, mentor, and grow the hardware engineering team to deliver high-quality and innovative hardware solutions. Develop and execute strategies to meet hardware development goals and support business growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software solutions. Drive technical innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies and trends in hardware design and manufacturing. Ensure the hardware engineering team follows best practices, development standards, and compliance requirements. Provide technical leadership to solve complex hardware engineering challenges. Contribute to the overall business strategy and product roadmap as a key member of the leadership team.
🎯 Requirements
• Vast experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. • Proven experience in leading and managing large hardware engineering teams. • Demonstrated success in delivering complex hardware products from concept to production. • Strong understanding of hardware development processes, methodologies, tools, manufacturing processes and best practices. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Proven ability to drive technical innovation and adapt to emerging technologies. • Experience in the smart locker or logistics industry is a plus.
