📋 Description
• Highly analytic Risk Manager to partner with CBP leadership • Evaluate, understand, and treat risks in support of homeland security • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies • Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across programs and the organization • Conduct regular risk assessments and analyses • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document risk mitigation plans • Prepare and present risk management reports to senior management • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes • Prepare topics and facilitate risk workshops • Establish key risk indicators to track and report on risk exposure • Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures • Serve as the primary point of contact for risk-related inquiries • Conduct investigations into risk incidents and breaches • Continuously evaluate and improve risk management processes
🎯 Requirements
• U.S. Citizenship Required • CBP BI, Top Secret, or DHS Clearance required • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience • Experience working with large, complex Government Agency programs • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and SharePoint • Strong risk management background with knowledge of DHS/CBP’s mission, vision, goals, and culture • Excellent writing, briefing, and communication skills • Demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making • Skilled in planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks • Risk Certification(s), e.g., RIMS-CRMP
