β’ Build and configure infrastructure with technologies like Docker, Terraform, Github, and AWS. β’ Utilize DevOps tools to support a wide variety of Javascript and .NET applications. β’ Work with cross-functional teams to solve challenges. β’ Build CI/CD pipelines using VCS, build, and deployment tools. β’ Site Reliability β Create application health monitors and configure alerts. β’ Ensure appropriate security practices are implemented. β’ Create and maintain documentation of new and existing processes.
β’ Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science (or equivalent years of experience) β’ 2 years experience as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, or System Administration β’ Scripting experience (SQL/Python/PowerShell preferred) β’ Experience with automating build, deployment, and maintenance tasks β’ Ability to work in a complex environment with a mix of hardware, virtual, and cloud data environments. β’ Participation in On-Call Rotation β Amherst has several on-call teams including DevOps for after-hours incidents.
