• This is a Work from Home Opportunity for candidates living within a 40-mile radius of Knoxville, Tennessee. • No Experience Required, On the Job Training Provided! • As an Entry-level AML Investigator (internally known as Associate Analyst I), you will collaborate with our clients (banking and non-banking) to analyze financial activities and mitigate risks associated with financial crime. • Your role involves detecting and investigating unusual financial behavior to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational policies, including conducting Know your Customer (KYC) procedures. • You will need to exercise discretion and judgment in the work and must be able to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Evaluate and monitor transactional activity to identify potential suspicious activity. • Verify client identities and assess their relationships with financial institutions for Know your Customer (KYC) purposes. • Interpret and implement client-operating policies related to financial data. • Identify data anomalies and red flags for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions violations, and escalate for second level review. • Adhere to designated timeframes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. • Submit written work product for review by internal quality control teams and make necessary adjustments based on feedback. • Meet production and quality standards while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and company policies, and client requirements related to Anti-Money Laundering.
• Bachelor’s Degree required. • Must be located within a 40-mile radius of Knoxville, Tennessee. • Proficient in crafting clear and concise narrative and written summaries, effectively articulating recommendations and conclusions. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to receive feedback positively and implement necessary changes quickly. • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. • Experience in MS Excel, MS Word, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
