• Oversee the product lifecycle: Manage everything from initial development and market introduction to ongoing optimization and support for a specific product line. • Enhance and refine existing products: Ensure that they remain competitive and responsive to evolving customer needs. • Lead new product introductions: Guide products from concept through to market launch and post-launch performance. • Conduct market research: Gather and analyze insights to inform the improvement of current products and the development of new offerings. • Monitor industry trends: Stay informed on competitor activities and market shifts to maintain the product line's relevance and competitiveness. • Collaborate closely with the engineering team: Work together to ensure technical requirements are met and that the development process is efficient and aligned with product goals. • Coordinate with hardware and software product owners: Ensure the seamless integration of features across the product line. • Align with program management: Keep product development on track with company objectives and ensure timely execution of product initiatives. • Work with global business development: Adapt the product line to meet the specific needs of international markets. • Utilize Agile to manage iterative development with regular updates and feedback. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to keep development responsive and efficient. • Apply Stage Gate experience to guide core product projects through structured phases. Conduct evaluations at each stage to track progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. • Lead product launches: Ensure comprehensive preparation for market introduction, including materials, training, and support. • Monitor product performance post-launch: Use customer feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvements and inform future developments.
• 7+ years of product management experience, particularly in managing both existing product lines and launching new products. • Experience in technology, industrial, or energy sectors is preferred. • Experience in international product management is an asset. • In-depth understanding of power systems, power electronics, or battery systems. • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; a master’s degree or PhD is a plus. • Strong collaboration skills, particularly with engineering teams: Capable of working closely with engineers to translate product visions into technical realities. • Excellent organizational and project management abilities: Competent in managing multiple priorities and tasks efficiently. • Analytical and detail-oriented: Adept at using data to make informed decisions and drive product improvements.
