• Job Title: Junior Accountant • Location: Remote • Compensation: $900 - $1,000 USD per month • About Us: Howard Financial Services provides bespoke back-office solutions, handling comprehensive finance department tasks, including bookkeeping, accounting, financial modeling, and budgeting. We specialize in supporting industries such as real estate, hospitality, consumer products, and sponsor-backed operating companies. • Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate is eager to grow in their accounting career, possesses strong analytical skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Key Responsibilities: Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. Assist in month-end and year-end close processes. Support the preparation of tax filings and compliance requirements. Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Assist senior accountants with audits, forecasting, and budgeting.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 1+ years of accounting experience preferred (internships count!) • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus) • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
