• As a Senior Environment Artist you will be responsible for creating high-quality believable Sci-Fi 3D environment assets for production. • Responsibilities: Creation of high-quality, 3D environment assets and textures • Integration of 3D assets into Unreal Engine • Collaboration with the Art Director and Lead Environment Artist to maintain consistency on the art style • Ensure performance and technical quality of 3D environment assets • Optimization of assets to fit technical requirements • Identify and troubleshoot problems and provide solutions • Cooperation with other departments of the studio
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as an Environment / Props artist in game development • Great understanding of next-gen (PBR) asset creation workflows • A keen eye for composition, shape, color, and detail • Very good skills in Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, Zbrush, and Photoshop • Solid hard surface and organic modeling skills • Being able to create modular/reusable environment assets • Strong texture creating/painting skills on softwares like Substance Designer/Painter • Being able to adapt realistic sci-fi art style • Ability to manage environments from creating layouts to the detailed and finished product • Unreal Engine blueprint (visual scripting) and material/shader knowledge • Unreal Engine lighting skills • Ability to manage your own time and work within deadlines • Great communication skills and being a team player • AA+ game experience • Fluent in English, both verbally and written
