📋 Description

• The Senior Simulation Process and Data Management (SPDM) Application Engineer is responsible for leveraging advanced level engineering and product development knowledge to define, design, develop, deploy and deliver enterprise-level solutions that enable customers to utilize advanced simulation technologies more effectively throughout their product development and engineering processes • The role includes working closely with customers, designing and developing solutions, executing on configurations, and participating in pre-sales activities • Analyze customers’ business and technical needs requirements, and the state of a customer’s current infrastructure, operations, and engineering workflows • Consult our customers on process design and process optimization • Derive the technical specifications in collaboration with other business process analysts, subject matter experts, peers and Ansys Product Management • Create elegant and useful solutions to solve complex business problems by working across various teams and understanding the needs of customers • Coordinate and execute all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity such as customer meetings and product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s or other advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field • 5 years of working experience in an agile team within commercial software development • Experience in one of the following environments: Engineering Software – Ansys or Commercial CAE/CAD/EDA • Enterprise Systems – MBSE/PLM/PDM/ALM/ERP/TDM • Subject matter expert in one or more relevant disciplines within Ansys’ business and is/will be sought out for advice by other Ansys engineers • Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English • Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency • Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed • Communicate equally effectively at the executive level to discuss business requirements and value, as well as the engineering level to discuss technical requirements, capabilities, and benefits • Ability to travel up to 25%
