📋 Description

• Oversee supervisors and staff of the Payroll Accounting and Revenue Accounting CoEs in maintaining strong processes for day to day operations, balance sheet recs, and in rolling out process enhancements. • Manage team to adhere to timely and accurate payroll accounting and revenue accounting SLAs • Develop and monitor execution of project plans for the completion of all monthly, annual, and ad-hoc deliverables • Perform and implement quality control activities • Collaborate with Tech to develop process enhancements, automating functions wherever possible • Team HR functions and work allocations • Ad-hoc projects and reporting • Allocate workload and collaborate between other supervisors on staffing resources • Review timesheets and approve PTO and other personnel matters • Conduct periodic check-ins and provide constructive feedback • Conduct annual performance reviews and present salary increases • Develop staffing requirements • Interview and recruit accounting department candidates • Oversee accurate and timely completion of monthly close and reconciliations • Design, implement and operate relevant internal quality controls • Review monthly trends reports and notes for accuracy and completeness • Review and approve deliverables prior to release • Proactively guide accounting teams on financial matters • Respond to accounting team inquiries and analysis • Ensure transparent communication between all relevant stakeholders • Proactive, clear, and timely communication of KPI’s • Collaborate with team, AGS management, Tech, and other internal departments to resolve issues • Proactively inform management of concerns or barriers to achieving objectives (e.g. financial results or meeting timelines) • Inform and consult with client regarding any significant changes to process and/or policy • Prepare accurate and timely reports for management and clients • Oversee monthly and annual hand-off to stakeholders with payroll and revenue deliverables • Manage process enhancement initiatives and launch with team • Recommend opportunities for automation, enhancements and efficiencies within workflows • Create project plan to manage timely and quality deliverables of enhancement initiatives • Collaborate with technology in providing end user requirements and robustly testing tech projects for the Accounting CoEs • Document new processes and manage change with the Payroll/Revenue Accounting CoEs • Develop annual budgets • Oversee preparation of revenue and staffing budgets. Update as needed throughout the year. • Collaborate with accountants/client on preparation of budgets and approvals • Other duties as assigned • Audit preparation • Adding/setup new facilities • Develop efficiencies and enhanced controls within the accounting lifecycle • Ad hoc projects and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Possess a BS or MS in accounting • Understand accounting processes and flow of information between systems • Good working knowledge of Excel and data analysis • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and healthcare industry • Possess managerial skills and experience • Communicates proactively, clearly, and timely • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines • Operate independently; seeks counsel for more complex matters • Attentive to detail • Able to rapidly learn new systems and policies • Possess computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
