Description

• We are seeking an Associate Director of FP&A. In this role, you will be an integral member of the Finance team as we build our FP&A capabilities. • This position understands the biotech business well, is highly analytical, and provides financial and strategic insights to enable the company to make well-informed decisions. • This position requires the ability to effectively partner, communicate, and collaborate across the Finance team and with various levels of management and program/functional teams across the company. • This requires the ability to thrive in team-oriented environments and ensuring a high degree of accountability, transparency, and understanding as it relates to the forecasting, reporting, accounting and operational performance of the organization. • The successful candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful, have strong analytical skills and can thrive in a fast-paced biotech company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred • 8+ years finance/FP&A experience with increasing levels of responsibility • Prior experience supporting R&D/Clinical teams within a publicly traded biotech company • Experience supporting high growth clinical organizations and clinical trial forecasting • Proficiency with MS excel financial modelling, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools required (preferably Adaptive Planning) • Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX principles required • A natural curiosity to understand the business further, a sense of ownership for their work and an ability to develop strong working relationships • Highly motivated, with ability to think strategically and prioritize, including a demonstrated ability to organize work effectively to meet deadlines • Excellent communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with other parts of the business, including key internal and external stakeholders and executive management • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Successfully exhibit Apogee’s C.O.R.E. values: Caring, Original, Resilient and Egoless • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% for team and company meetings.
