• About Appspace: We’re passionate about creating better work experiences for people everywhere. • Your Role as a Sales Engineer: Partner with our Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Appspace product solutions. • A Day in the Life of a Sales Engineer: Provide technical and sales support for assigned and prospective customers. • Help drive account and partner relationship building.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships leading to trusted advisor status within customer and partner base • In-depth knowledge of baseline pre-sales product and engineering skills • Knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria, and applications of use • Competitive knowledge (in the areas of digital media and content management, space management, room booking) • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills • Ability to work effectively across teams and collaborate with a variety of departments. • Demonstrated history of exhibiting technical knowledge and consultative skills • Prior sales, sales engineering, or solution architect experience preferred • Preferred skills: working knowledge/use of Salesforce, Scripting, Web Development (HTML, JavaScript, and AngularJS), O365/Azure, working knowledge of containerization/Kubernetes, cloud solutions, IPTV streaming, digital signage/video walls, space management/room booking tools (IWMS, etc.); prior Software/SaaS Company and Industry experience • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years professional experience (Computer Science/Information Technology and Engineering fields preferred but not required)
