•Junior Events & Marketing Manager - 12-month fixed-term contract •At Aptem we’re passionate about creating technology solutions that enable people to learn and improve their lives. •Demand for our end-to-end SaaS solutions are ever-increasing and we are continuing to expand rapidly as a business. •We are a small team who all have a hands-on, collaborative approach and act as the internal customer. •We are responsible for business growth through new logo acquisition, customer retention and identification of new market opportunities. •We work closely with the Business Development team to produce communications that address customer pain points, run relevant events, maintain a wide range of communication channels and increase our brand exposure externally. •We are looking for a Junior Events & Marketing Manager to join us for a 12-month fixed-term contract. •The successful candidate will help us to plan and deliver a calendar of virtual and in-person events for our customers and prospective customers, while providing generalist marketing support to the team. •This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role supporting the growth of our business. •Our events currently comprise product training and thought leadership webinars, large-scale industry conference sponsorship and exhibitions, speaking engagements, regional industry events, customer forums, and large customer events. •This role will be remote-first, working from home, with occasional visits to our London office in Camden for team meetings and attendance at events. •Culture is really important at Aptem and we hold regular company events including our Summer and Winter UK team away days, and activities such as Shuffleboard and bowling. •The Junior Events & Marketing Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of Aptem’s calendar of virtual and in-person events (UK), while providing generalist marketing support to the team to deliver on the wider marketing plan.

Requirements

•A minimum of 3 years' work experience managing events - both remote and face-to-face. •Experience using GoToWebinar, Teams or other similar webinar platforms. •Copywriting skills with the ability to write new content and repurpose existing content for new audiences and use cases. •Working knowledge of Office 365 applications (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) •Experience using social media platforms LinkedIn. •Experience using Pardot and Salesforce, or equivalent CRMs like HubSpot or Marketo, to execute and report on campaigns. •Experience of using Canva, or other design tools. •Experience using video editing tools. •Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of seniority. •Team working skills. We are a small team who works closely together and with the Business Development team. You should have an ability to influence at all levels. •High level of attention to detail. •We value creativity, from ideas to execution, and the ability to think of innovative ways to promote the brand, increase awareness and gain new leads. •There is a large amount of ongoing, time-critical activity. It is important to be incredibly organised with your workload.
