ARETUM is seeking a dynamic and analytical Financial Analyst to join our talented team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our projects and helping our clients make informed financial decisions. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, preparing reports, and providing insights that drive strategic planning and decision-making. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional services to our Federal clients, ARETUM specializes in government contracting within various sectors, including advanced analytics, engineering services, training, information technology, cyber security, program management, and financial consulting. Our commitment is to harness innovative technology and intelligent strategies to support our clients effectively. Responsibilities β€’ Identify cost data to be collected, develop data collection plans, and manage and analyze cost reporting plans. β€’ Develop real property portions of budget requests, to include the OMB Justification and President's Budget request. β€’ Develop financial and procurement plans prior to the year of execution. β€’ Support ongoing operations including developing briefing decks for monthly planning calls.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or similar analytical field. Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the realm of federal budgeting, PPB&E, annual budget cycle and associated areas. Deep understanding of Excel, to include development of formulas, pivot tables, and visualizations (e.g., graphs, etc.) Ability to develop dynamic, logical, and documented cost models in Microsoft Excel Experience in financial and budget analysis methodologies in the federal space, including financial baselines, congressional commentary, cost estimates and requirements. Ability to work with a wide variety of customer sets including program managers, technical staff and leadership. Ability to pass a federal background investigation (Public Trust).
