• Aretum is a mission-focused federal consulting agency supporting a wide range of government clients, including the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other federal agencies. • We are always looking to connect with skilled Software Developers to join our growing team. • By applying to this posting, you will be considered for future opportunities that align with your skills and career goals. • As a Software Developer at Aretum, you will design, develop, test, and deploy secure and scalable software solutions in support of mission-critical systems for federal clients. • This is a pipeline role intended to collect applications for upcoming positions across multiple programs. • Design and develop software systems using modern programming languages and frameworks. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, engineers, and project managers. • Implement user stories and software features based on Agile development principles. • Maintain and improve the performance, scalability, and security of applications. • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. • Contribute to documentation and technical specifications as required by government contracts
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience. • 2+ years of experience in software development using languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or .NET. • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle). • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
