📋 Description

• Assist the VP and Senior Manager of Government Relations and the global GR team in executing Aristocrat’s GR strategy across the Americas. • Proactively monitor and help shape and inform the business on relevant regulations, state and federal legislation, and policy. • Support executing the business’s regional growth strategies and priorities, including building strong internal networks, effective business partnering, and external relationships among government and industry. • Build and maintain constructive relationships supporting Aristocrat’s business and growth strategy. • Represent Aristocrat externally, and enhance the business’s reputation among key government, industry, and regulatory stakeholders and audiences. • Execute stakeholder engagement plans to support the delivery of the GR Strategy. • Provide relevant government relations insights and leverage expertise to help unlock new business and other operational opportunities in the Americas. • Conduct timely and accurate research as needed. • Each responsibility may require collaboration with internal teams and communication with external stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials. • 5+ years of experience in relevant public policy/government relations strategy and/or gaming industry experience in the U.S. • Experience working within a compliance-driven culture, or a highly regulated industry. • Track record of effective advocacy, with a commercial mindset. • Keen understanding of state legislative and policy development processes in the U.S. • Existing personal network with state lawmakers, gaming regulators, and relevant industry associations. • Familiarity with regulatory trends in gaming, economic development, and data privacy. • Experience promoting environmental, social, and corporate governance as part of an advocacy strategy. • Outstanding personal integrity, discipline, and maturity. • Strong interest in promoting responsible gameplay. • Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and initiative. • Excellent analytical, written, and oral advocacy skills. • Ability to function well in a global, fast-paced environment. • Ability to work effectively across cultures, and in a diverse environment. • Team-player mentality. • Collaborative work style, with the ability to build consensus. and drive for results. • Demonstrated ability to develop, build, and maintain relationships internally and externally.
