Description
• Perform routine monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparing and recording journal entries and preparing account reconciliations for a variety of accounts, including accruals, prepaids, cash, A/R, revenue, etc. • Managing accounts receivables and accounts payables invoice processing • Ensuring a smooth audit process by performing internal controls, maintaining immaculate record keeping, and assisting in the audit process • Assist in preparing required support for annual tax filings and help maintain general tax compliance throughout the year (sales tax, 1099s, etc.) • As the the team and accounting processes grow, assist in developing and updating thorough documentation of all processes • Support special projects and analyses as needed by the Finance team
Requirements
• 2-5 years of related experience in Accounting related function in an evolving and high growth environment • Big 4 experience and CPA or CPA candidate preferred • Willingness and ability to learn general ledger responsibilities as needs arise • Strong technical skills and knowledge of GAAP. Experience with SaaS accounting and reporting (ARR), ASC 606: Revenue Recognition, ASC 340-40: Capitalized Contract Costs, and ASC 718: Stock-Based Compensation a plus • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with Quickbooks a plus • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and at different levels within and outside the organization • Ability to prioritize, work independently and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, organizational and time management skills • Ability to maintain discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential matters
