Description

• Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance, Accounting, and Billing functions for the organization • Own financial reporting, planning, financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, risk management • Manage revenues and profit projections, financial covenants with banks, financial partners, and outside investors • Oversee, manage, and approve all expenses for the management company • Take the lead on the company’s capital strategy • Partner with the Founder/Principal to lead the development of future financial strategies • Assist with annual audits, tax return preparation, SEC, and regulatory reporting/filings • Assess resource requirements and financial impacts of new business initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field. • 10+ years of prior work experience • 5+ years of proven experience in a financial or accounting capacity with a Hedge Fund • Have extensive experience with cash and working capital management and forecasting • Strong technical skills, particularly with Microsoft applications and a proven proficiency in accounting software or financial applications • In-depth understanding of various financial instruments, investment types, vehicle structures, asset classes, tax regulations • Highly organized, strong attention to detail and able to prioritize with excellent management and supervisory skills
