• Hedge Fund/Family Office Consultant – Trading Assistant • Join our experienced roster of consultants that support Hedge Funds and Family Offices. • Arootah is a personal and professional development leader in the Investment and Financial Services industry. • Our mission is to provide top business advisory services to our hedge fund client base. • Our Business Advisory Services focuses on the multi-faceted needs of Hedge Funds and Family Offices. • Arootah was founded by Rich Bello, the Co-Founder and COO of the industry-leading $10 billion hedge fund, Blue Ridge Capital. • Rich brings more than 30 years of experience, including leadership positions at Morgan Stanley, Tiger Management, and Ernst & Young. • Arootah is searching for experienced Trading Assistants to consult to our highly prestigious client base. • As a consultant, you will work with our Hedge Fund and Family Office clients to provide expert advice. • Having previously served in the role of Trading Assistant you have specific, hands-on experiencing providing trading and system support.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong academic record. • 3+ years of relevant experience at a Hedge Fund or Family Office dealing with the reconciliation and resolution of trade breaks. • Must be organized and have strong attention to detail. High level of efficiency and ability to multi-task under pressure. • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team. • Demonstrated quantitative aptitude. Understanding of basic financial concepts through coursework or job experience. • Proven experience working with different asset classes in a high-volume environment. • Demonstrated knowledge of settlement practices and procedures, including familiarity with back-office custodian, brokerage and and clearing agencies. • Drive to deliver on high value projects and a roll up your sleeves attitude.
