Description

• We are a venture-backed insurtech looking for entrepreneurial and highly motivated people to help strengthen our foundation and set the stage for fast and efficient scaling. • As a Full Stack Developer, you'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining both our frontend and backend systems, helping to shape the future of our platform. • You should be authorized to work in the US/Canada (we cannot sponsor at this time), have a Bachelor's Degree and be comfortable working within the North American time zones.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience building full stack web applications/services • Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies: • Frontend: TypeScript, Vue 3, HTML5, CSS (Tailwind, shadcn) • Backend: Kotlin / Java, or experience with Scala, Swift, C#, etc • Experience building and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs • Understanding of distributed systems architecture and implementation • Proven track record of implementing responsive, performant web applications • Strong foundation in software engineering best practices, including: • Automated testing • Code quality and review processes • System monitoring and alerting • Documentation • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills across the full technology stack • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a bias toward action • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
