• Write and edit scientific publication materials for Ascendis Pharma's projects. • Coordinate and execute publication preparation activities. • Interface with external experts and internal stakeholders to ensure timely publications. • Perform literature searches and interpret data for publications. • Follow publication policy and contribute to improving publication processes.
• PhD or PharmD required. Professional credentials/certification (e.g., CMPP) a plus. • 5+ years of medical/scientific writing experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, academia, or other relevant industry. • Understanding of US and international regulations, requirements, and guidance associated with scientific publications (ICMJE, GPP2022, etc) • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail; ability to assimilate and interpret scientific content and translate information for appropriate audiences. • Excellent working knowledge of software programs (MS Office, Endnote, Adobe Acrobat, etc.), electronic document storage systems, and literature search engines/databases. Publications management software (e.g. Pubstrat) a plus. • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional team environments; strong project management skills.
