• Ashburn Consulting is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. • The Developer will be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. • Typical responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack Developer are the following: • Work with development teams to ideate software solutions. • Design client-side and server-side architecture. • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design. • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications. • Write effective APIs. • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency. • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software. • Create security and data protection settings. • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design. • Write technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of related professional experience; master’s degree and 6 years of related professional experience; High school diploma/equivalent and minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience. • Minimum of 7 years related technical experience, with software design, development and implementation in a Windows Environment using PostgreSQL, Java Spring Boot, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML and Angular. • U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) background investigation prior to start. • US Citizenship • Experience performing in an Agile, DevSecOps software environment using CI/CD pipeline tools. • Demonstrated communication skills including building and nurturing relationships, fostering a collaborative work environment, and leading design-related conversations. • Knowledge of the Angular framework and Angular Material. • Knowledge of how to create Angular components and services. • Experience upgrading AngularJS projects to Angular. • Experience using Java Spring Boot to develop Single Page Applications using a modern UI framework backed by RESTful services. • Experience creating reusable libraries. • Experience conducting code reviews and leading tests to maximize quality code. • Experience implementing new features by transforming mockups into fully functional user interfaces. • Experience integrating code with API enabled microservices. • Experience optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. • Experience with Object Oriented design and development. • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture. • Experience with source code control systems and concurrent development workflows (Git preferred). • Technical Certifications (i.e. AWS Developer, Solutions Architect, Java OCP, etc.). • Experience with Spring framework, Hibernate or other ORM, JAX-RS, XML, JSON, Web-Services (JAX-WS or JAX-RS), Eclipse, maven, Junit, and shell scripting. • Experience providing production support for applications utilizing Oracle databases.
