📋 Description
• AST SpaceMobile and our global partners are building the first and only space-based cellular broadband network to be accessible by standard smartphones. • AST SpaceMobile is looking to hire a principle engineer with experience in full-stack development who will be responsible for a large portion of software and infrastructure to support Ground Software and Mission Operations. • The candidate will be an integral member of the Ground Software Team, responsible for software used to assist in communication and control of our satellites. • This candidate will be expected to have a few direct reports and work with software teams in our India division.
🎯 Requirements
• At least 10 years experience in an application development position • Strong software engineering experience • Proficiency in implementing DevOps systems • Proficiency with version control systems • Proficiency with Networking concepts and Fundamentals • Proficiency in Full Stack development • Experience with programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, Go, or other programming languages • Experience with frameworks such as: • NodeJS, FastAPI, NestJS, Fiber • Express, OpenAPI, Swagger, TypeORM • Angular, Vue, React • Flutter, Swift, Android Studio • Experience with concurrent (multithreaded) programming practices and libraries • Experience using Cloud Providers (specifically AWS) • Experience with containerization such as Docker • Comfortable working on different operating systems such as Linux and Windows depending on the task. • Experience using both relational and non-relational databases • Experience with centralized logging systems (Splunk/ Elasticsearch)
