Description

•As a Founding Software Engineer, build backend systems, scalable data pipelines, and distributed processing frameworks. •Design and maintain secure backend services handling high data volumes. •Develop and optimize data pipelines for large datasets and low-latency access. •Create and manage distributed processing systems for parallel computation. •Implement best practices for data storage, encryption, and access control. •Collaborate on RESTful API design with frontend engineers. •Monitor and optimize system performance for speed and reliability. •Define coding, testing, and deployment best practices, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

•10+ years of experience in backend development, focusing on data pipelines and distributed processing. •Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js, with microservices experience. •Expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines using tools like Apache Kafka, Spark, or AWS Glue. •Experience designing and implementing distributed systems for parallel processing, with knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, or Flink. •Deep knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB). •Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. •Understanding of data security and privacy best practices, including encryption and secure access. •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. •Strong communication and teamwork abilities. •Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment.
