Description

β€’ As a Middle Office Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trading activities. β€’ Your primary focus will be on reconciliations, daily bookings, and managing various financial processes. β€’ This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. β€’ Using a combination of tools and analytic skills, you will monitor our accounts and portfolios, and assist in daily reconciliations. β€’ You will assist the trading team with asset management in various exchanges and follow up fund transfers when necessary. β€’ You will work either individually, with other teams, or with external contacts to resolve any identified discrepancies and troubleshoot any systemic issues promptly and effectively. β€’ You will manage creditor interactions, verifying terms, facilitating drawdown and payment of loan principal and interest, auditing invoices and addresses. β€’ You will produce scheduled and unscheduled reports, analyses, and historical records as required by mandate or in support of other teams. β€’ You will help in quality assurance practices and will help developing manual processes into effective, automated processes. β€’ Discrepancy Analysis: Conduct thorough break analysis and resolve discrepancies in trading data. β€’ Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with various ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the team.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution in Finance, Accounting, or a related field β€’ 3-5 years of middle office experience, preferably within a multi-national, and ideally in digital currencies, trading or other financial services organisation β€’ Ability to raise issues with peers and managers, as well as communicate with clients and business partners to negotiate terms, as necessary β€’ As you will be working remotely, you will demonstrate an excellent ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and demonstrate self-reliance and self-motivation β€’ Good initiative, great sense of urgency and personal resilience to manage the ups and downs of fast-paced teams β€’ Proficiency in Excel and financial software systems β€’ Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners β€’ Understanding blockchain technology, digital assets, and the regulatory landscape surrounding cryptocurrencies is highly desirable. β€’ A self-starter who goes beyond what is asked for to get the job done well.
