β’ Providing HR coordination and administrative support for client needs β’ Maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel files, records, and other documentation in accordance with federal, state, and company retention policies β’ Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records β’ Entering/updating personal data in Human Resources Information System (HRIS) database including, but not limited to, onboarding, commuting, maternity/paternity leave, general healthcare, dental, vision, 401K, and education reimbursement β’ Training & onboarding new employees, which includes policies, procedures, corporate culture, benefits, office perks, and much more β’ Maintaining human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases, as well as tracking vacation, sick, and personal time (done with HRIS systems - the more variety of systems you've worked with the better) β’ Orienting new employees by providing new hire information packets, reviewing company policies with new hires, gathering withholding and other payroll information, and explaining and obtaining signatures for benefits programs β’ Documenting human resources processes for client needs β’ Working with client managers to ensure all tasks related to payroll are complete (timecard approvals, bonuses, commission calculations, expense reimbursements, etc.) β’ Attendance monitoring, leave tracking, clock in/outs, and calculating the payroll β’ Performing leave administration management and document administration β’ Completing ad-hoc HR projects, reports, and initiatives
β’ 2+ years of experience in Human Resources β’ Working knowledge of and experience with navigating within HRIS systems and modules β’ Solid understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures β’ Smart, resourceful problem solver who knows where to look to find answers β’ Works effectively within a team and supports colleagues and clients in a supportive capacity β’ Excellent interpersonal skills, can be calming and reassuring to the client and convey credibility β’ Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information and situations β’ Ability to work within a team, take direction, and support needs at all levels. β’ Strong typing and computer skills, including MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook. β’ Tech-savvy due to rapidly changing technology.
