• A Technical Writer generates the documentation as a part of the development process of various programs and automated systems • The main purpose of the technical writer activities is to make processes easy to understand and products a breeze to use.
• Works autonomously. • Does coaching, reviewing and delegates work to lower level professionals. • Produces and updates documentation on product features including user guides and help documents • Manages and refines existing project documents • Contributes to knowledge development • Communicates with the development team to gather information • Communicates complex information in the understandable form • Analysis of the experience of documents users • Audience analysis • Creation of the user-centered design of the documentation • Creation of the procedure description • Performs the task analysis (FRD, test cases, etc.) • Provides basic editing (beta read or document's evaluation) • Creates diagrams and schemas
