Description

• Solve business problems and reveal data narratives through data exploration and machine learning • Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to design analytical solutions • Manipulate large data sets using Python, PySPark, and SQL • Prototype solutions and communicate risks and limitations • Write production-quality, optimized code with test-driven development • Maintain unit and integration testing suites for products • Contribute to CI/CD and production practices • Identify automation opportunities for efficiency • Mentor junior associates and model effective relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (CS, Math, Data Science, Engineering, or other quantitative field) + 7 yrs work experience, or computational MS + 5yrs, or PhD +3 yrs with computational research experience, or equivalent length of work experience in lieu of a degree • Proficiency in Python and SQL programming • Experience with large, complex data sets, ETL, and ad-hoc scripting • Experience with AI/ML algorithm development • Experience in cloud-native, micro-service environments • Strong proficiency in software tools/practices (Git, linting, testing) • Strong communication skills
