Description

• The Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality assurance processes for dedicated accounts that ensure the highest standards of quality delivered to the client. • The QA Coordinator will lead the QA monitoring for specific accounts and work closely with project managers, linguists, designers and QA specialists to ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. • This role requires a deep understanding of localization processes, skills in feedback sharing, commitment to quality and an internal drive for continuous improvement. • The role is based in Latin America with the ability to work from 8-5 PST.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the localization or translation industry. • Skills: Deep understanding of localization processes, including translation, DTP, layout QA and linguistic validation. Strong knowledge of QA tools, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with translation management systems (TMS) and computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools. Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
