📋 Description

• The Robotics Controls Engineer is responsible for several domains, including electrical and functional. • Focusing on accomplishing full projects with customers. • After the Kick-off of a project, you work out a concept in detail. • Write a functional description & user manual of how the installation should work. • Together with a draughtsman, create and check electrical diagrams. • Make layouts that clarify the placement of the electrical components and create the BOM of the concept. • Ensure all components are ordered in time or arrive at the site. • Provide the purchasing department with the necessary input by comparing prices and technical solutions. • Check with the electrician if everything is connected correctly (I/O test). • Attend technical meetings, site inspections, and on-site work if needed. • Assist internal stakeholders on technical issues before and during execution to ensure proper implementation of the technical solution. • Be an Ambassador of the company towards all stakeholders. • Responsible for sourcing external vendors for materials, installations, etc. according to the project budget. • Oversee the onsite realization, both in the pre-phase and realization phase. • Manage the project’s cost, budget, and calculations during the realization phase and report any deviations. • Comply with local laws and guidelines in the context of the realization of the project. • Supervise the software tests with the commissioning engineer and propose solutions for problems if needed. • Create test procedures with the commissioning engineer. • Provide practical training at the customer site. • Provide standby assistance after delivery to help customers on their way. • Resolve aftercare issues together with the site manager.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree with an electrical specialization • 1-3 years' experience with CAD software • A great blend of creative and technical ability is necessary. • Proactive mindset and excellent capabilities to spot opportunities to help the business. • Flexible, positive, and open-minded. • Excellent communication skills. • Enthusiastic about working in an international environment, embracing diverse cultures and countries. • Able and eager to learn and evolve your skills. • Driven and enthusiastic team player, who loves to take the initiative. • Fluent in Dutch and English. • Located in Belgium and willing to travel up to 30% of your time to offices & projects abroad.
