📋 Description
• AxisCare is hiring a full-time full stack mid-level Software Engineer to join our 100% remote team. • You’ll help us meet the needs of the growing home care market with new features in our market-leading home care SaaS powered by a PHP-based web stack. • Building small, well-defined features within a project team with mentorship from more senior team members • Effectively managing your time to make meaningful progress and ship on time, avoiding unimportant details • Maintaining a humble, always-a-student approach, diligently seeking out opportunities for experience and self-directed learning, and eagerly sharing what you’ve learned with others.
🎯 Requirements
• At least 2 years' experience as a professional software engineer on teams, building web apps with the full PHP web stack, including a modern PHP framework and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Experience building React-based apps written in TypeScript. • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming • Experience working with relational databases like MySQL • Experience with a distributed version control system like Git to collaborate on software development within a team • A good writer, which is especially important given the asynchronous and technically precise nature of our work • A mindset of software development as a team sport, preferring team success over personal achievement
