📋 Description

• Location Requirement: Must be in PT/MT Timezones • As part of our rapid growth we are looking for an Escalation Engineer to join our team! • At Axonius, we’re passionate about building software that solves problems. • We count on our technical teams to empower our users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance levels to pursue their missions. • As we expand our customer deployments, we are currently seeking experienced engineers to deliver insights from massive scale data in real time. • Specifically, we are searching for someone who brings fresh ideas, demonstrates a unique and informed viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences at every interaction. • In this role, you will serve as an escalation point within our organization, providing rapid response to emerging issues. • Escalation Engineers are first responders who handle emergent issues proactively where possible and reactively where necessary, joining critical customer calls on-demand to quickly diagnose and resolve urgent issues. • In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our proactive alerting, and for troubleshooting and resolving performance issues at the platform level. • Run the production environment by monitoring availability and building a holistic view of system health. • Build infrastructure and systems for monitoring and analyzing complex issues. • Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions. • Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of senior-level experience in a customer-facing role supporting enterprise software • 5+ years of professional experience working with Linux • 2+ years of professional experience working with MongoDB with proven knowledge of internals and in-depth performance troubleshooting and remediation • Experience with monitoring and related technologies (Grafana, Prometheus, APM) strongly preferred • Experience working with Redis and Celery is preferred • 2+ years of programming experience (structured and OO) with one or more high level languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript • A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
