Description

• Act as a software development expert who makes high-level design choices • Troubleshoot coding problems and collaborate with other experts to produce high-performance software systems • Collaborate with bright engineering minds in SaaS and big data computing • Excel with minimal technical supervision, embrace time constraints, and deliver high-quality products and features • Define, adapt, assess, document and explain solution architecture and software architecture • Identify, avoid and minimize technical and business risks for a project • Collaborate with team members to determine best practices for functional and non-functional requirements • Oversee and approve all final programs and products before formal launch • Support coaching and training of team members in software applications • Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions • Solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions • Ensure software security by actively monitoring the sharing of private information • Oversee progress of development to ensure consistency with initial design

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing software applications • 1+ years of experience with PHP or equivalent server-side scripting language (Perl, Ruby, Python, etc) • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field • Professional certification in software architecture, frameworks, or languages • Demonstrated knowledge of web applications, cybersecurity and open source technologies • Experience developing software utilizing various coding languages including Javascript, Node, React and more • Outstanding collaboration and communication skill are essential • Experience overseeing customized development of processes for multiple projects simultaneously • Extensive understanding of architectural styles and design patterns • Professional experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and overseeing plans to improve them • Experience designing secure software systems based upon industry-specific specifications
