Description

• Work closely with technical leads and client teams to fully demonstrate the benefits of GCP technology • Introduce clients to cloud best practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, monitoring, etc. • Setup GCP foundation, networking and security best practices using Terraform • Define security best practices, and implement processes and tools to enforce them. • Help build and monitor micro-services running on K8s • Engineer tools and services that improve operational efficiency and help our developers build features faster • Define and implement cloud-based solutions in line with industry best practices and enterprise architecture guidelines • Support clients in troubleshooting issues in their test or production environments and identifying root causes and solutions • Help build and monitor micro-services running on K8s • Engineer tools and services that improve operational efficiency and help our developers build features faster • Work with a team of engineers to lead the development of derivatives trading and derivatives valuation applications

Requirements

• You are an experienced, talented, software developer with 5+ years of practical work experience • Hands-on experience managing large K8s • Experience in large-scale, secure, and high-availability solutions in a Cloud environment, such as GCP. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Config Connector • Extensive programming experience in Python, Java or Scala. • Good understanding of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes (GKE) or Docker • Good understanding of GCP services such as IAM, Networking components, Managed Instance Groups, and Google Cloud Storage buckets • An understanding of security principles and other associated controls and features in GCP • Database experience with either RDBM or NoSQL • Technical writing experience; preparing and presenting technical material to various audiences. • Experience in working in or with, Agile delivery teams.
