📋 Description

• Our actuarial team plays a critical role in driving successful reinsurance transactions along-side our extremely talented brokers. • Our actuaries are the analytical minds using data and insights to manage risk, optimize reinsurance structures, and provide strategic insights for our clients to be successful. • We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic reinsurance team. • This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early actuarial career professionals to gain valuable experience working in a professional environment with experienced actuaries. • The successful candidate will provide critical actuarial support in pricing of reinsurance treaties and risk assessment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field. • Actively pursuing actuarial credentials, preferably with Casualty Actuarial Society or equivalent (e.g., ACAS, FCAS, or equivalent). • 2-5 years of experience, preferably experience within the reinsurance, actuarial consulting, or insurance industry. • Experience with reinsurance pricing is a strong advantage. • Recent working knowledge of Python. • Knowledge of other coding languages and data management/warehousing is a plus. • Strong proficiency with Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to grasp new concepts and apply them to improve work processes and outcomes. • Quick and eager student of new technologies as and when they are needed.
