📋 Description

• The Associate Advisor, Private Risk will work to gain knowledge of private risk lines of insurance to successfully gain technical and sales knowledge. • Begin with an in-depth training program and will have exposure to existing clients with the opportunity to be mentored by experienced Advisors. • Learn the firm’s insurance and risk management value proposition to support the clients’ needs and passions. • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through analysis and discovery. • Participate in sales meetings to review sales activities and prospective customers with leadership. • Develop a full working knowledge of private risk products and procedures. • Learn to present proposals in a professional manner, reviewing coverages in detail to ensure understanding. • Maintain an understanding and knowledge of insurance industry and underwriting criteria for Insurance Company Partners represented by firm to effectively communicate to all involved.

🎯 Requirements

• Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment required • Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment preferred • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Strong ability to persuade, motivate and influence others • Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary
