📋 Description
• Reporting to the Director, Strategic Initiatives, the Project Associate, Food Security promotes the values, principles, and customer service standards of the Foundation for Black Communities (FFBC). • This position will play a key role in coordinating project activities, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring excellent delivery of the Food Security initiatives. • Provides program, operations, communication and administrative support on food security initiatives and projects at the FFBC. • Supports communication with stakeholders, organizes logistics, and maintains project resources.
🎯 Requirements
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the non-profit sector. • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across diverse teams and with external stakeholders. • Experience in monitoring and reporting on project progress. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools. • Knowledge of food security issues is an asset.
