📋 Description

• Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama • Responsible to develop, implement, and support programs that enhance healthcare reporting solutions • Mid-level position involving working on complex projects and requires a strong understanding of programming, software development life cycle, and knowledge of various healthcare systems • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions meet the organization's needs, improve efficiency, and adhere to industry standards. • Additional duties may be assigned that are within scope of the role.

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred • A minimum of 2-6 years of experience in programming, application development, or a related field, preferably within a healthcare environment required; however, candidates with an equivalent combination of experience, education, certification, and demonstrated proficiency in a similar or related role will also be considered. • One or more industry standard healthcare or IT certifications preferred • Knowledge of CCL coding language is strongly preferred • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar • Strong understanding of database management systems, SQL, and data integration techniques • Familiarity with healthcare information systems, standards, and regulations • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement effective software solutions • Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with various stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions. • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects activities simultaneously • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technologies and business needs • Accepts ownership and welcomes responsibility
