Description

• Barbaricum is a rapidly growing government contractor providing support to federal customers. • Currently seeking an experienced Production Engineer in support of the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS). • The position will provide Subject Matter Expertise in production engineering, advising on system readiness for production and ensuring all necessary resources and skills are in place to meet production goals. • Support manufacturing readiness assessments, monitor production metrics, and analyze data to minimize production risks and enhance efficiency. • Participate in project meetings and contribute to production trade-offs, risk management, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Secret Security Clearance • A Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or general Engineering from a college or university. May substitute Education requirement with four years of relevant production/supply chain experience in automotive or defense industry • A minimum total of ten years experience in production, manufacturing, or supply chain management within the DoD or Automotive Industries. • Experience supporting the US Army or DoD is preferred including working with/on tracked or wheeled ground combat vehicles in military or civilian capacity (operator, maintainer, logistics, acquisition, or production).
