Description

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our organization's products, services, and technical processes. • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to gather information and understand the intricacies of various processes and procedures. • Write, edit, and format detailed SOPs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company guidelines and standards. • Translate complex technical information into easily understandable language suitable for our target audience. • Organize and structure information effectively, using headings, subheadings, tables, and other formatting techniques to enhance readability and accessibility. • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy and validity of the content. • Revise and update existing SOPs as needed to reflect changes in processes, procedures, or regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that SOPs meet their requirements and address any feedback or concerns. • Work closely with other teams, such as quality assurance, compliance, and operations, to ensure SOPs align with company policies and regulatory standards. • Review and validate SOPs to ensure they comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices. • Maintain documentation version control and ensure proper archiving and retrieval of SOPs. • Continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of SOPs by soliciting feedback, conducting audits, and implementing improvements based on best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communications, English, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Process Writer/Technical Writer, with a focus on writing SOPs. • Strong knowledge and understanding of technical writing principles, practices, and industry standards. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. • Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. • Familiarity with document version control systems and content management systems. • Attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in all written materials. • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts. • Experience in regulated industries (IT) is highly desirable. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as ISO standards, FDA guidelines, or other industry-specific regulations, is a plus. • Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating proficiency in writing SOPs are preferred.
