📋 Description

• As the Senior Grants Manager for BBYO, you will play a pivotal role in securing vital funding that drives the success of our programs, empowering Jewish teens and shaping the future of our Movement. • In this position, you will oversee and support all aspects of grants for the organization including researching institutional funding opportunities, writing grants for major national and local funders, and developing strategies to optimize the administration process. • This role reports to the Senior Director of Donor Communications on the marketing team and works closely with BBYO’s CEO and executive leadership staff. • We are looking for someone who excels in writing, storytelling, and communicating impact, and is passionate about the essential role grants play in advancing an organization’s mission and vision. • You have a strong ability to develop relationships and collaborate with colleagues across departments. • You have experience coordinating and prioritizing multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment, while remaining flexible to respond to and manage the unexpected. • You are excited about gathering and sharing data to tell a powerful and persuasive narrative to institutional funders and philanthropic partners.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and some experience in nonprofit development • 3-5 years of experience in written communication, philanthropic partnerships, donor stewardship, and storytelling • Strong track record of effective project management and experience in inter-department collaboration and communication • Travel Requirement: 10% +; including Staff Conference, BBYO International Convention and team retreats. Open to staffing summer programs should they be interested, not required. • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, and prospecting platforms including iWave as well as computer software, particularly Excel • Capacity to take initiative and lead projects from beginning to end • Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment • Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
