📋 Description

• BDR Solutions, LLC, (BDR) supports the U.S. Federal Government in successfully achieving its mission and goals. • This position requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one. • This position will be performed virtually from the individual’s home office working on EST time schedule. • We are seeking a DevSecOps (CI/CD) Engineer to contribute to our Software Development and Support program. • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated and seamless deployment of software solutions to the ServiceNow platform. • Embed automated security tools and practices within the CI/CD pipelines to proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities. • Utilize scripting and automation tools to streamline build, test, and deployment processes. • Work closely with software development, security, and operations teams to promote a DevSecOps culture. • Implement and manage monitoring tools to track the performance and security of applications. • Maintain up-to-date documentation of DevSecOps processes and CI/CD pipelines. • Stay informed of the latest trends and technologies in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and security.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check and receive a Public Trust clearance. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. • 6-8 years relevant experience. • 8 years additional experience in a relevant field may be substituted for education. • 3-6 years of experience in DevSecOps, with a solid background in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with experience in ServiceNow. • Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), and familiarity with cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, automated security tools, and practices applicable to the CI/CD pipeline. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of quickly identifying and addressing challenges in the development and deployment processes. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Ability to adapt to new technologies, methodologies, and evolving project requirements, with a keen interest in continuous learning and application of best practices. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
