Description

• Beacon Biosignals is on a mission to revolutionize precision medicine for the brain. • The leading at-home EEG platform supporting clinical development of novel therapeutics. • In this role, you will contribute to the development of new/modified EEG device software. • Responsible for design, development, testing, and documentation of device software. • Collaborate with Design, Research, Manufacturing and Quality colleagues. • Perform testing to verify that the product meets intended design requirements. • Document design in accordance with applicable product development processes. • Beacon's robust asynchronous work practices ensure a first-class remote work experience.

Requirements

• Education: BS in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field • Work Experience (post-graduate): 5+ years work experience with BS degree or 3+ years work experience with MS degree, developing real-time embedded firmware in C • Ability to read and follow electrical schematics • Knowledge of embedded systems architecture and real-time operating systems (RTOS) • Proficiency with tools like Git/JIRA/Confluence and platforms like GitHub • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python • Knowledge of design controls and regulations for medical device development is preferred.
