📋 Description

• BeMo has an immediate need for a top caliber Content Manager with expertise in all of the following: SEO, content creation, social media management and podcast management. • Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Content Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the content strategy to drive targeted organic traffic growth. • This role involves creating, managing, and updating blogs, social media videos, podcasts, and supervising a team of writers and creators.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Content Manager or similar role, role with a clear emphasis on SEO and organic social media video growth. • Proven experience (5+ years) as social media image and video content creator and/or manager. • Proven experience (5+ years) managing a team of 5 -10 to more individuals. • Excellent writing skills demonstrated through proven creation of long-term content (articles, blogs, etc., 2,000+ words). • This position requires a lot of writing and a lot of editing other written (and video) work, and is for someone who is comfortable spending a several hours on this on a weekly, continuous basis. • Demonstrable success in significantly increasing organic website traffic, video views, engagement rates, and follower growth through strategic content planning and execution. • Deep understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, backlink strategies, content optimization, and technical SEO basics. • Proficiency in social media video strategies and trends, particularly on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. • Familiarity with content analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, YouTube Studio, Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics). • Experience in planning, scripting, filming, editing, and optimizing short-form video content. • Strong project management skills, comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. • You must be located in Canada and eligible to work in Canada.
