β’ Benesch is seeking a Hydraulics Design Engineer to support Transportation Projects. β’ Responsibilities include designing open and closed storm drainage systems. β’ Perform hydrology/hydraulic analysis for transportation projects. β’ Provide fieldwork assistance to verify existing site conditions.
β’ Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of technical design of transportation projects. β’ B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required. β’ PE required; ability to obtain Tennessee PE. β’ MicroStation, GEOPAK drainage, and HEC-RAS experience. β’ Experience developing deliverables per TDOT standards and requirements (including BSR/CSR) is preferred. β’ Experience in erosion and sediment pollution control design (TDOT Level III Certification a plus). β’ Working knowledge of TDOT Guidelines for Drainage Studies and Hydraulic Design. β’ Working knowledge of the FHWA Hydraulic Design Manual. β’ Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. β’ Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects. β’ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form. β’ Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner.
